Atlantic Fleet app good for
I got this as soon as it came out. I was already a a big fan of the first game but this is better than anything, there are so many ships so many options... Paul really did a good job programming everything and Nilss artwork is better than ever. Get this and you wont regret it!
Fantastic! Its predecessor Pacific Fleet was already more than just an app, but Atlantic Fleet is at least 3 times as good. Hundreds of ships, outstanding graphics and an incredible depth of gameplay make it equivalent with full-fledged PC games. Addictive! There are some minor things which could be improved, but those Killerfish guys are constantly listening to the players and will fix any issues for sure.
Important: No IAP, i.e. the price is no way too high. Pay once, play forever! :)
Future update wishes: different types of sinking. E.g. Ships break into pieces, see more destruction on ship body
Everything you could hope for in a naval game.
Takes a little practice to get the hang of it.
Look in the help section for info on weapons and tactics. Highly recommend this game.
-single-battles-costombattle-german ships then all I See is the battle ship guenasu sailing.PLAESE FIX but other then that greatest game ever!!!!
First of all, Bravo to the makers of this game for sticking with their no in-app purchases. The price you pay is all in and it is worth every penny. The game itself is fun, challenging and the graphics and realism are amazing. Nice touches like oil slicks that spread across the water and ignite. I waited months for the release of this game and it has not disappointed.
Some bad moments
When you are in a battle and the enemy has taken damage they just run away and you have to start over. 15 times I have started over on the 4th level of campaign. FIFTEEN fix it!!!!!
Impossible to get past level 13-14 on full version. Your ships have around a 50% hit rate. Especially the larger heavy cruisers. Their big guns do you no good as they cant hit the broad side of a barn! Also. Ive had multiple rounds end where I did. To lose the ship in battle yet when it was not available to me for the next round. Have had to start over numerous times because around level 14 I did not have ships large enough to compete. Even though I had not lost them in battle. Need an update to fix these issue before wasting money. If fixed, could be a great game!
This game is so good. It is undeniably one of the best naval sim I have ever seen on App Store. However, after hours of gameplay I find that the range finding system is almost useless and usually kills the fun and make me frustrated. The deviations of the range finding is simply ridiculous high even in extremely short distance. When playing as Germany, in most of the time you sunk all British warships in 5 minutes and spent 20 or more minutes on finishing off the merchant ships. This is just stupid. I cant recommend this game to no one if the game stays in this current state.
In place of a refund, I am forced to leave a one star review.
The interface on this game is unusable. I sometimes have to tap on a ship more than 20 times to select it.
Selling this game on iTunes has got to be a prosecutable crime. I can only hope that someone with more resources than I does the job.
Good game, good graphics, and basically counts as an educational tool. Only problem is that the graphics are so good, that it drains your phone battery rapidly. But, it is worth the money^2
At first I was hesitant to spend ten bucks for a game for my old iPad 3 but Pacific Fleet has been pretty good so took the plunge. Glad I did. The graphics and physics are great and controls become intuitive as you work your way through the tutorials.
