Best Naval Combat Game Ive Seen

I owned Pacific Fleet and it was a decent game but Killer Fish as taken it to a whole new level with Atlantic Fleet and it is by far the best naval combat game Ive seen for the iPad to date. If you love WW2 ship battles, youll definitely love Atlantic Fleet.

The gunnery is awesome. Each ship has their own characteristics when shooting. So you need to make individual adjustment to elevation. Simply setting gun elevation to what the radar recommends isnt always enough. To me this adds more realism to the game.

The addition of historical battle are fantastic!

Ships visual damage by gunfire is also impressive.

Of course there is room for improvement. Due to game mechanics, hunting submarines is a challenge. Turning ships can only be done in 5 degree increments which can create problems sometimes. Range data for torpedoes are inadequate. Lack of torpedo bomber sights make torpedo drops a challenge.

However, despite these technical issues Atlantic Fleet is a grate game and is one of my favorites for the iPad.
